This project involved the design of a bicycle to be installed on a given location on The Ohio State University campus. The design focused on development of contextual fitness, drawing characterizations such as architectural features, social dynamics, visual cues, etc.

This bike rack concept was modeled for the Graham Elementary and Middle School yard with the intent to liven up the space and allow for a structure that kids can play on/around.  The curved nature of the design directly references the surroundings of the school, which sits on a curved road.  The staggered blocks give the same sense of motion one would experience while driving along the curved road adjacent to the school.

Modeled at 1/16 scale

Modeled in Fusion 360
Hand-modeled with chipboard, acrylic paint, and faux moss.
